TATA STEEL塔塔鋼鐵英國工廠位于南威爾士的塔爾伯特港，是威爾士地區第一個得到BREEAM杰出認證的建筑項目，同時也被授予南威爾士可持續建筑杰出獎、威爾士杰出工程創新獎等多項榮譽。

BREEAM(Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method)是由英國建筑研究所于1990年制定的世界上第一個綠色建筑評估體系。涵蓋規劃項目、基礎設施項目以及建筑單體項目，是全球超過78個國家信賴使用的可持續性發展標志。

BREEAM 評價標準綜合評估項目的采購、設計、施工和運營，確保每一階段都符合目標性能要求。BREEAM體系下的綠色建筑評估涉及9個方面的內容：能耗、管理、健康宜居、水、建筑材料、垃圾、污染、土地使用&生態環境、交通。按照各部分權重進行計分，計分結果分為5個等級：

通過(Pass)≥30%

良好(Good)≥45%

優秀(Very Good)≥55%

優異(Excellent)≥70%

杰出(Outstanding)≥85%
